Sweet! I am getting more excited about this. I really hope they don't let me down. Fingers crossed.
I can’t help but feel the inclusion of Nimoy in this next film, cameo or otherwise, is a bit gimmicky. In any event, new Spock is HOT.
I'm thrilled Nimoy will don the pointy ears one last time... especially given that, by the time the movie comes out, it will be nearly 2 decades since he last did so. (I hearts me some Nimoy.)
I'm siked about the casting (and I'm not even a Trekkie). I would never have guessed Quinto even after the huge success of Heroes. Now comes the question of the rest of the cast. I beleive Matt Damon should be a shoe-in. But that leaves Bones and the rest of the Cast.

I still think Damon as Kirk is great casting, but I also now think they're looking to go about 10+ years younger. The Kirk in this movie is apparently early to mid 20s. Damon can't cheat for that anymore.
SyFy Portal is saying Robbie Williams might be Kirk. (BWAHAHAHA.) Now, *that* would be enough to sink this franchise before it gets (re)started.

Please say it ain't so, Abrams! PLEASE!
I so would not go see it if that automoton was in it. Period.
