Vile OJ Book & Show Cancelled

Don't often get to say this, but good for Rupert Murdoch.
Bowing to intense pressure from both outside and inside the company, the News Corporation yesterday canceled its plans to publish a book and broadcast an interview with O. J. Simpson in which he was to give an account of how he might have murdered his former wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald L. Goldman.

When I first heard of the book, I was in complete disbelief. Good on Murdoch, maybe he's mellowing with age.

Keith Olberman pointed out last night that Murdoch and senior management approved this in the first place, so maybe I was hasty in complimenting him . . . (Certainly, I went home and scrubbed with a wire brush).

Cancelled - yes. But somehow OJ gets to keep all the money he was advanced. It's still fucked up!

I love how ABC et al were interviewing Fox "news" people about this. How did Giraldo and Bill O become the fucking story??? Or even part of.

Alllll plublicity for the Fox machine. It can't be stopped.
